What is your warranty?
We offer a nationwide warranty for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Warranty work must be performed
at our facility if customer is within 100 miles when problem occurs. For warranty claims needed outside this 100 mile range please call for information about our nationwide warranty so that we can connect you with a participating facility. No warranty is implied or given for performance parts or any customer supplied parts. No labor or parts warranty is provided for abuse or vehicles used in any racing environment or offroad
environment. Warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
How often should I get my car serviced?
We recommend following manufacturers recommended mileage and time based maintenance recommendations.
How do I know if my brakes need to be replaced?
Most vehicle have a sensor on their brake pads which will either bring up a warning indicator on your dash or a screaching
sound that you will hear outside the vehicle while braking. We recommend checking your brakes at each service interval as well.
Anything I can do to maintain my car between services?
We recommend using tier A gasoline. Tier A gasoline, also known as Top Tier gas, is a fuel that contains additives that help prevent carbon
deposits from building up in a vehicle's engine. We also recommend avoiding overheating at anytime by stopping your vehicle immediately if
any coolant loss or overheating is occuring. We also recommend closely monitoring gauges and warning lights and checking for
fluid leaks or loss on a regular basis. Some auto manufacturers such as Audi allow up to 1 quart of oil consumption every 1200
miles. Ensure you check your oil level at least every couple of fuel fillups.
Can I bring my own parts?
At Ozark Import Specialists, we're committed to providing you with the highest quality European auto repairs and a smooth, worry-free experience, which is why we exclusively use parts we source directly. This policy helps us manage several important things: it minimizes liability risks for both you and our shop, as we can stand behind the quality and compatibility of the parts we install. It also helps us avoid frustrating delays that can occur when a customer-supplied part turns out to be incorrect or faulty, getting your vehicle back to you faster. Ultimately, your satisfaction is our top priority, and we want to ensure we can fully guarantee our work; unfortunately, we can't offer that same level of assurance when using parts from outside our trusted supply chain, which could lead to dissatisfaction if the part fails.

Yes, to better accommodate our customer's busy schedules we have an early bird drop off slot between our two from doors and we offer a secure lock box system for after hours pickup.
What type of parts do you use?
Whenever possible we use OEM or OES parts in all repairs. The main difference between OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and OES (Original Equipment Supplier) auto parts lies in branding and distribution, rather than necessarily the part itself. An OEM part is typically marketed under the car manufacturer's brand (e.g., Audi, Land Rover) and sold through their dealerships; it's considered the "official" part. An OES part, on the other hand, is made by the very same company that manufactured that component for the car maker for factory installation (like Bosch making an alternator for BMW), but it's sold in the supplier's own packaging (e.g., a Bosch box instead of a BMW box). OES parts are generally identical in quality and specification to OEM parts but are often less expensive because they don't carry the car brand's markup.
Why is my car taking longer than expected or why do the repairs cost more than originally projected?
We certainly understand your desire to have your vehicle back promptly, and we appreciate your patience as we work diligently on your repairs. Sometimes, the repair process on modern vehicles can take a bit longer and cost more than initially anticipated due to a couple of common factors. Firstly, auto manufacturers increasingly use plastics in the engine compartment; over time, the hostile operating environment — with its heat cycles and exposure to fluids—can cause these plastic components to become brittle and unexpectedly crumble or break during disassembly, even with the most careful handling. It's often very frustrating when these parts literally crumble when touched. This necessitates sourcing and replacing these additional unexpectedly damaged parts. Additionally, during teardown, trouble spots that were unseen due to being visually obscured often become apparent and must be addressed. Thirdly, the sophisticated electronics integral to today's cars often require special, vehicle-specific programming or calibration after a component is replaced or repaired. This programming ensures all systems communicate correctly and function as intended for your safety and vehicle performance, and this critical step can add to the overall repair timeline. We're committed to ensuring a thorough and reliable repair, and addressing these material and technological complexities properly is key to that.
Why should I choose a European auto repair specialist for my service and repair work?
European cars feature specialized engineering features, advanced technologies, and unique advanced designs which set them apart from either domestic or Asian vehicles. These differences require specialized knowledge and experienced technicians, expensive specialized tools, and the correct parts for proper care and maintenance. We can't tell you how many times over the years that we've had other shops that claim to specialize in European cars drop cars off here because they didn't have the skill or tooling to properly perform the customer's repairs.
Do you require an appointment?
Yes, we recommend calling us at 479-751-0800 or using our appointment contact form to request an appointment in advance. All appointments
are for drop off time only and are not necessarily indicative of an exact time the technician will be able to actually begin
working on your vehicle. Please select a date where you are able to drop your vehicle off with us sometime before 8:30 am and leave
it until the afternoon at least for the diagnostics, work, or maintenance services to be completed. Further work may take more time depending on the work needing to be performed,
scheduling, and parts availability. If you have an emergency situation like overheating or a no-start please call us to arrange immediate service.
Do you work on classic cars?
Sorry, unfortunately as much as many of us love many of these classic cars, we no longer work on classic vehicles or vehicles older than the 2005 model year due to parts availability,
and other issues with 20 plus year old cars. We simply cannot slow down our worflow for our customers daily
drivers to work on classics. We do know people in the Northwest Arkansas corridor who do work on them if you need help finding someone.
